CrossFit Tameside
We do CrossFit, which is a fitness programme designed around the things you do in the real world. Every day, you bend down and pick things up, you put things over your head, you squat down, you stand up and you run around after your kids. We prepare you for all that by performing those exact movements in our workouts. We borrow exercises from things like weightlifting, gymnastics, and athletics, and we keep things varied, so your body is always adapting, getting stronger, faster, better conditioned. It’s completely scalable to your current level of fitness but everyone works really hard – the plus side is the workouts don’t take long, an hour tops and you get fit fast!

Introduction to CrossFit - the fun way to get in shape
CrossFit Tameside is introducing a ‘Foundations’ course from Monday 5th July. This is a great way to learn the different movements and terminology we use in CrossFit in a small group setting. It’s limited to 6 places so contact us now to reserve your place.

Free trial classes - 1st and 3rd April
We’re so keen to get the CrossFit revolution under way in Tameside that we’re holding two freebie sessions this week. You don’t need any CrossFit experience and it doesn’t matter whether you’re uber-fit or haven’t exercised in years. We’ll tell you a bit about how CrossFit works, teach you some of the fundamental skills/movements and end with a little workout.
Come in your workout clothes as our changing rooms aren’t ready yet. Wear anything that’s comfortable – boardies, shorts, tracksuit, vest tops, t shirts, hoodies. Layers are a good idea. When you’re working out you can take them off, when you’re cooling down you can put them back on.
Feel free to just turn up but we’d really appreciate it if you could email us to let us know that you’re coming to give us an idea of numbers.
